The hope is that the listeners will be encouraged enough to take small actions like planting the odd insect friendly flower or leaving the odd weed ! They save unwanted swarms and re home them out into the world where they can carry on the endless task off keeping our eco system going. Over a third of everything we eat on our plate derives from the work of pollinators and THEY are dying at 40% + year on year? Do we need to worry ? I think so! |
