Installing LED lighting

The Bishops Caundle & Caundle Marsh Village Hall is considering replacing all existing lighting with LED lighting. Does anyone have experience of doing this, and if so can they recommend any companies that we should contact. Thank you.

Solar Panels

Has anyone had any experience of having solar panels fitted to their hall?

I am aware that each property is different but can anybody ive an indication of the cost of installation nand number of panels required?

As with any hall, we have a limited income so we don't want spend money that would be better spent on other maintenance.

We look forward with interest to your comments.

Utility Aid - any Good? A question from Lytchett Matravers

We have been approached by a company called Utility Aid, which offers to help reduce utility bills. It suggests that this is a free service but we are concerned that there may be some catch, and wondered, firstly, whether you have any experience of this firm and are able to advise us regarding using their services, and, secondly, whether you have any other advice about how we might get the best deals on utility bills?

Solar Panel Installation

Someone in our village has suggested we look into solar panel heating installation with surplus power being fed into the National Grid.

Has any Village Hall looked into this and if so what were their conclusions?

High Frequency or LED lighting

Enquiry from West Lulworth VH

We are thinking about updating the lighting in our Village Hall. Have any other halls converted to High Frequency lighting or even to LED’s? If so, have they any comments about the success (or lack of) of doing so?
