Here is a brief summary of the 2013 Halls Fair which was a joint collaboration between the Dorset Village Halls Association, East Dorset District Council and Dorset Community Action, held at the Allendale Community Centre, Wimborne on 4th October 2013.

My thanks to all who participated or contributed, and especially to our District Council who provided the venue.

Fundraising by doing your own Fun Christmas Show

Iain Campbell has developed fast-paced and entertaining shows, which have been presented at Osmington Village Hall with good income to appreciative audiences over several recent years. They now have a reputation as an event which local people look forward to. The shows require little skill from your enthusiastic performers, as the script and props supplied in the Show Pack contain all you need. He calls this the 'Jingle Tingle Factor' and it works.
