The Fontmell Magna and District Garden Club Annual Show. Saturday 6^th August from 2.30pm

The Fontmell Magna and District Garden Club are organising their Annual Show. 

 It will be held in Fontmell Magna Village Hall on Saturday 6^th August 2022 from 2.30pm.  Everyone is welcome to come along and see the displays. Teas will be served from 3.00pm and an auction of the produce from 4.00pm.

There will be the usual vegetable, fruit and flower categories for members to enter but plenty of opportunities for non-members to join in the fun. Two general sections are open to all villagers in the district, including the tastiest tomatoes, home-made jam and marmalade and a Fontmell ‘Bake-off’ (with the recipe for a courgette, lemon and thyme sponge cake).

The fun section, again, open to all villagers in the district, includes an arrangement in a beer glass, an animal made from fruit and/or vegetables, a miniature garden on a plate, a best dressed vegetable and an unusual or extraordinarily shaped vegetable. 

There will also be two interactive tables; matching the seeds to the plants they will grow into and identifying mystery garden implements. There will also be a plant swap table.
