 The Sacred History is an account of the workings of the supernatural in history. It tells the epic story of angels, from Creation, to Evolution through to the operations of the supernatural in the modern world. This tale of how people and peoples have been helped by angels and other angelic beings is woven into a spellbinding narrative that brings together Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Elijah, Mary and Jesus, Mohammed, Joan of Arc, the angels who helped Hungarian Jews persecuted by the Nazis, and stories from African, Native American and Celtic traditions.

Brooding, mysterious, and very, very old, the ancient yew trees of England have inspired magical poetry and historical speculation. Where does the poetry end and the history begin? This talk looks at the churchyard yew in literature and archaeology. It takes the story back to the cultural melting-pot of the seventh century, when Irish, Briton and Saxon met in the land of Wessex on the cusp of Christianity.

 The earliest tribes of Britain and Ireland marked their new kingdoms by locating and honouring its navel or mid-point, constructing mounds, stone monuments or re-shaping sacred hills to create a link to the cosmos. At these centres, we find dragon pathways aligned to the sun, crossings of trackways pointing to the cardinal directions and the worship of the Fire Goddess. Gary will share his discoveries for a forthcoming book of these centres of power at the omphalos of England, Cornwall, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
