Litton Cheney ask ...
We currently have a hall floor devoid of markings for any sporting activities, several of which are played in the hall. We have received a request from those interested in playing badminton that a court be marked out in the hall. Previously we have used weighted markers on the floor but that has not proved a great success. We are reluctant to permanently mark out the court, perhaps because we love the look of a perfectly formed pristine wooden floor that would not look out of place on the set of Strictly Come Dancing. Our question is:- Is there an acceptable compromise whereby both parties get their wish? We would not wish to go to the effort and expense of putting down a badminton court and then find out 6 months down the line that it doesn't work for whatever reason. Can anyone help please?
