The village hall is a versatile venue ideal for hosting a wide range of activities. From one-off special occasions such as wedding receptions and children’s parties to regular community activities and sports clubs. It serves as a hub for a number of regular events, including workshops and activities for people with learning difficulties, community cinema, live music, theatrical performances for both adults and children, yoga and pilates classes. It has a lovely outside space for children to play in a safe enclosed area while adults can sit and enjoy a drink on the patio.

Situated on the Cranborne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village lies roughly equidistant between Salisbury to the east, Blandford to the west, Ringwood to the south and Shaftesbury to the north. The Village Hall is conveniently located off the B3081, at the northern end of the village travelling towards Shaftesbury.
